Chestnut Tree House Big Heart Auction
Over 80 souls attended the Goodwood House business networking breakfast hosted by Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice on Thursday 14 July. Guests included representatives from Vitacress Ltd, Henry Adams and Barclays Bank. The event was supported by Goodwood House, who provided a delicious breakfast with lovely pastries from Laure Moyle of the Pudding fairy.
Chris Woodgate, Chief Financial Officer for Goodwood Estate and Derwyn Jones, Chairperson and Trustee for Chestnut Tree House welcomed guests. Linda Perry, Director of Children’s Services at Chestnut Tree House gave a moving account of the care provided by the hospice. Hugh Lowson, Chief Executive of Chestnut Tree House, said, “It is great to see so many local businesses here to find out about the care Chestnut Tree House provides, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes and we plan to reach more children.”
Local business entrepreneur and adventurer, Director of Laughton and Co Ltd and ambassador for Chestnut Tree House Neil Laughton gave a motivational, amusing speech. Neil spoke about his journey and how working with the charity has had a great impact for his company. All at Chestnut Tree House would like to thank everyone that have attended the Networking Breakfast meetings. Watch this space for future Networking opportunities.
